This was the first year that I offered Mommy & Me Mini Sessions for Mother’s Day and I’m so glad I did! It’s rare that mothers’ get in the photos with their children so I was happy to photograph these special mini sessions. The Mommy & Me Minis also provided the perfect opportunity for multi-generation portraits.

The rain and low temperatures threw the original Mommy & Me event off schedule a bit so we ended up at two different locations, Wilder Park in Elmhurst and Northside Park in Wheaton, IL (on different days). It was a fun way to mix up the backdrops and we lucked out with flowers in bloom and beautiful sunsets. :)

I’m looking forward to holding Mommy and Me Mini Sessions again next year. I loved seeing all of the mothers interact with their children and share the photos from the session with friends and family.
